Istituto del Italiano Vino di Qualità Grandi Marchi Brings Best of Italian Wine To Brazil
Verona, Italy-- May 30, 3012 For the second year, Istituto del Italiano Vino di Qualità Grandi Marchi (Istituto Grandi Marchi) brings the best of Italian wine to Brazil with a guided seminar and walk around tasting for trade, press and wine lovers on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 in São Paulo.
Wine professionals, media and wine collectors alike will have the opportunity to learn and taste the wines of the Grandi Marchi at an exclusive seminar and guided tasting at the Hotel Unique (Avenida Brigadeiro Luís Antônio, 4700 - Jardim Paulista, São Paulo, Brasil, 01402-002) which was designed by Ruy Ohtake and known for its modern, cutting-edge design, located in the Jardim Paulista neighborhood.
The seminar, from 2:00pm-4:00pm, will be moderated by Jorge Lucki, wine journalist and the founder of the Brazilian Association of Sommeliers and Wine Editor of Valor Econômico newspaper. Panelists include Giovanni Folonari, winemaker/owner of Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute and Alberto Tasca d'Almerita, CEO of Tasca d’Almerita. Wines slated to be presented during the seminar include classics and new releases from: Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, Antinori, Argiolas, Jermann, Lungarotti,Masi, Mastroberardino, Michele Chiarlo, Rivera, Tasca D’Almerita, and Umani Ronchi.
Immediately following, from 4:00pm-7:00pm will be a walk-around tasting and buffet featuring all of the representatives exhibiting at the event. Professional wine trade, media and select wine connoisseurs are invited to attend and discover these special wines, icons of Italian winemaking.
